What do I need to put on the flat roof to vent out a cooker hood extractor fan?

I need to know what sort of cap ent I need I can’t seem to find one. the cooker hood will come stright up through a flat roof.

yes as I want to vent it out side to extract moisture from my kitchen.

i believe you extend the pipe up above the roof & the put a cap on

You could use flue pipe for a furnace/ water heater. You’ll need the pipe, roof flashing, storm collar, and cap. You may also need a square to round adapter at the fan’s connection.

Simple, and this comes from an experienced roofer.

Extend the collar on the unit to just past your roof line. Thus it catches the wind. Place a quartered, or square cap on the end of the unit (assuring as even flow as you can) and enjoy the result(s).
