An absolutely overlooked film – people certainly have never heard of it in my circles and laugh at the ridiculous title…
However, the cooking of meth, adds the isolation, anxiety, criminality, paranoia, addiction, helplessness, claustophobia and the psychological disintegration of the character’s in this film – the supernatural, the delusion from extreme anxiety enter without being underlined…. we are never sure what is… but what is, is the mess and anxiety this drug creates.
Certainly, Brits haven’t have the meth epidemic that was predicted. A truly awful drug (tried) – so addictive… the reality of a dirty addiction that has hit and is wrecking many lives…
To enter into such a horrific world of a deranged and evil lead and his ‘cooker’, a pharmogologist addict – interplays an intense relationship between the characters, and as outsiders spirally in a lethal addiction and a place that cannot be defined – yet, enters the deepest and darkest areas of the psyche and for once, genuine and original horror.
Enjoy the macarbe and the education.

So is this movie is supposed to be about tweakers, but they’ve put a twist on it to make it seem like a horror movie? As in they’re supposed to be really paranoid and think they’re seeing things from all the meth?

He was. The entire cast was perfect. I love seeing low budged independent films where the acting is high quality.
The ghost story is as cool as the paranoid druggie combo for the subject matter.

This movie is amazing! I want to see these 3 actors in another movie together. what’s going on with Brad Hunt. He is the best actor. Why don’t I see more of this guy? Hollywood is crazy to not make a star out of him.

I’ve read plenty of stories in the papers and I’ve met several actual junkies in my life. They came across as selfish, rude, aggressive and downright horrible. They wern’t nice people. Some of the stories I heard about them were pretty grim.
how can you base your opinion of junkies from a horror movie about junkies? how many junkies have you actually seen mug an old person or rape a kid?
I hate junkies. They mug old people and rape kids. They should all end up like Hector.
yeah, pretty much. plus the circulation was being cut off to his leg because it was caught in the rope and the blood would have rushed to his head from hanging upside down. nothing real pretty would happen to him

Hector, the junkie, fell down the well in the cellar where he was hiding the meth. he got caught on the rope with the bucket and was stuck down there, and no one was around to help him back up. need i say more about what happened to him?
sorry, but this was an independent film, so there is no soundtrack to buy. maybe if you contacted the filmmakers or the guy who made the soundtrack you might be able to get the music, but otherwise it’s not available
I seen it as well and I loved it. I didn’t get the ending though. What happened to that Junkie? Didn’t he fall down a pit or something? I didn’t get it.
